Firewood suppliers in the Welsh Marches
Woodfuel Wales have a great resource available where you can search your post code for local accredited log suppliers. They created standards and a certification scheme for the production of all types of wood fuels. The firewood is guaranteed to be high-quality, from sustainable resources and seasoned to below 25% moisture content.
You are completely within your right to ask for the load to be tested for moisture content before it is purchased or unloaded. See the moisture testing page for further guidance.
Remember to buy your wood by the loose cubic metre. See here for more details.
